How to make authentic West African Palava Sauce with rice:
Ingredients Not Included (You will need):
• 200g protein of your choice (e.g., chicken, beef, fish, or tofu).
• Oil or ghee butter for sautéing
• Add half of chopped onions.
• One large onion (for sautéing)
• 2 teaspoons of Nana Africa spice rubs for protein of your choice (during cooking).
• 2 teaspoons of Nana Africa spices Rub of your choice for flavour (at the end).
• 1.5 cups of water.
• Salt to taste.
Instructions for cooking sauce:
1. Heat oil (butter or ghee) in a pan.
2. Add half of the chopped onions and, sauté until softened.
3. Add protein of your choice and Nana Africa Spice Rub of choice and cook until browned.

Ingredients
Instructions: for cooking our Nana Africa Spice-Infused rice:
1. Prepare the Rice:
• Rinse the jasmine rice well and set it aside in a bowl.
2. Sauté the Onions
• Heat the oil or ghee butter in a pot over medium heat.
• Add half of the remainder chopped onions and stir-fry until they become fragrant, golden brown, and translucent.
3. Add the Rice:
• Add the rinsed rice to the pot and fry it over medium heat for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. Cook the Rice:
• Pour in enough water to cover the rice (about 1.5 cups).
. Cover the pot with a lid and let the rice come to a boil on high heat (approximately 2 minutes).
• Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for about 20 minutes or until the rice is semi-translucent and soft but not mushy.
5. Season with Nana Africa Spice Rubs:
• Once the rice is cooked, sprinkle Nana Africa spice rubs over the rice and mix well.
6. Serve:
• Serve your Nana Africa Spice-Infused rice, and add your Palava Sauce on side.
7. Add a salad or vegetable on side preferably my ghana Salad on social media to make it a complete Ghanaian meal experience.
